RHP History in Europe
The Refugee Highway Partnership (RHP) arose from the acute need for coordination of ministries involved in such a complex and vast field.
The Refugee Highway Partnership was established in response to a global consultation on the refugee highway, convened in Izmir, Turkey, in 2001, with the support of the World Evangelical Alliance.
A facilitation team and an administrative team were established to strengthen the partnership.
Hosted as a network of the World Evangelical Alliance Missions Commission, it is the only global network serving to connect and encourage the collaboration of evangelicals in ministries among refugees.
RHP in regions
Because the needs of refugees and the possibilities of the Church differ per region, we have organised the RHP partnership by geographical regions.
Within the European region, our primary goal is to stimulate and inspire nation-wide church-based ministries among refugees with a focus of sharing the Gospel.
Regional coordinators in Europe gather together annually for a time of networking, equipping and encouragement.
